At THE LAW HOUSE PLLC, our legal team offers over 25 years of broad legal experience assisting Washington state individuals and businesses. PREVENTION is the best practice; we can help you identify and address legal risks.   
​ANN'S BACKGROUND 
Ann Riedel-Thomas earned her Bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Seattle University, and her Juris Doctorate from the Seattle University School of Law. She is a licensed Washington State attorney in good standing. Ann has practiced law in the public and private sectors, for large and small firms, and served a 5-year appointment as an Administrative Law Judge. She is committed to listening to your goals and concerns, and to providing experienced legal services to address your unique situation.

JOSH'S BACKGROUND 
Josh Ritchey, our new Associate Attorney, joined The Law House PLLC in the summer of 2025 after previously serving as a law clerk with our firm. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law and his B.A. in Political Science from The Evergreen State College.
During law school, Josh gained a wide range of experiences that shaped his approach to client service. He studied international human rights law during a semester abroad in Florence, Italy, completed the nation's only wine law program, and participated in Gonzaga's Elder Law Clinical Program, where he provided pro bono assistance to clients navigating complex legal needs.
Josh is passionate about helping individuals and families plan for the future with clarity and confidence. He approaches his work with a focus on listening, compassion, and practical solutions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
​Outside the office, Josh enjoys cooking and exploring Washington's wine country with his wife, Victoria, along with their two dogs, Goose and Hank.

LARISSA'S BACKGROUND 
​Larissa Burnum is an Ellensburg local and has been employed at The Law House PLLC since June of 2022. Ms. Burnum completed the Paralegal Certification Program with Everett Community College and is currently a CORE Registered Paralegal with the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc.
​She is focused on being productive by assisting clients with their legal needs with the utmost compassion and efficiency.

Ms. Burnum wholeheartedly believes in providing first-rate service to all clients in the hopes of easing the complexity of some legal matters.
In her free time, she paints, reads, and enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their Doberman Pinscher, Ares and two cats, Willow and Tuna.

BRITTANY'S BACKGROUND 
Brittany Urakawa is a paralegal specializing in probate, estate administration, business formation, family law, and litigation. She began her legal career as a legal assistant in 2020 while continuing her education and working her way up to a paralegal position. Brittany joined our firm in 2024, where she assists with our probate and estate administration case load.​
Brittany earned her B.A. in Law and Justice from Central Washington University in 2019 and completed her Paralegal Studies Certification at the University of Washington in 2024. She is currently a registered paralegal with the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc.

When she is not working, Brittany can often be found in the arena with her horses.

ESTIMATED FEES & INITIAL CONSULTATION FEE
Generally, our firm charges for estate planning, probate, and business services on a fixed-fee basis. We charge an hourly fee for some legal services. Additionally, we charge $200.00 non-refundable fee for an initial consultation. After the initial meeting, if we are able to represent you, we will set the fee for our services, provide a written fee agreement, apply the consultation fee toward the flat fee. Our office arranges a mutually convenient schedule to complete your documents or provide an approximate timeline for the completion of your legal issues. If we are unable to represent you, following the initial consultation, the $200.00 is a non-refundable fee for the initial consultation.

​HOW TO GET STARTED
If you are a Washington resident, and would like to discuss your legal concerns, please call (509) 925-9600 to schedule an initial consultation and request an Estate Planning Questionnaire or Probate/Trust/Estate Administration Intake Form or Business Client Intake Form. After completing the appropriate form, sign and date it, and bring the form to your initial meeting.  ​
